Random Post: My New Hobby

Been trying to make bread for a while, they kept coming out really hard.  This one was perfect... well, perfect compared to the other batches.  The crust is light and crispy, the inside is sumptuous.  I might quit buying bread altogether and make my own... probably not.

I used these tips from Jacque Pepin:
- preheat oven (you'd think I would have done that in the first place but no!)
- throw some water inside the oven (or spray if you have a spray bottle) to create steam and form a nice crust.  I didn't do this before so I waited and waited and waited for it to turn brown... then it burned.  This time, nice light crust and then I stopped the oven.  Going back to polish off my pound of bread.  Signing out.
